2. General

This website provides the macOS app TypeCycle for download and sells licenses. It uses no analytics or tracking services. Cookies are used exclusively as part of payment processing via Paddle (see section 6); personal data is only collected where you enter it in the order form or contact us by email.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time of access, requested file, browser type and operating system). This data is used to technically deliver and secure the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after [retention period, e.g. 7 days].

4. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on the web server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is made.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details are processed to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and deleted once no longer required.

6. Payment processing (Paddle)

License purchases are handled by the payment provider Paddle. The provider is Paddle.com Market Ltd., Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record: the purchase contract is concluded with Paddle, and the details you enter in the order form (name, company, address, email) as well as your payment details are transmitted to Paddle to process the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). When the page loads, the Paddle checkout script is loaded from Paddle servers, transmitting your IP address. During checkout, Paddle sets cookies that are technically required for payment processing and fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR); no consent is required for these. 7. TypeCycle app

The macOS app TypeCycle offered on this website processes documents exclusively locally on your device. The app does not transmit any personal data to us or to third parties and contains no analytics or tracking functionality.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
