1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the website www.bitmix.de and the purchase of the macOS software "TypeCycle" (the "Software") through this website.

2. Contract via Paddle

The Software is sold through our sales partner Paddle. The provider is Paddle.com Market Ltd., Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record: the purchase contract for the license is concluded between you and Paddle. Paddle’s terms additionally apply to the purchase (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).

3. Service and License

The subject of the purchase is an annual license for the Software at €149 plus VAT (introductory price). The license permits use on up to two of your own machines. The scope and conditions of use are governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA).

The license key is delivered by email within one to two business days of purchase; the license term is adjusted accordingly.

Before purchase, the Software can be tested free of charge and without time limit in demo mode; the content of output documents is scrambled in demo mode.

4. Prices and Payment

The price stated at the time of ordering applies. Payment processing (card, PayPal, Apple Pay) and invoicing are handled by Paddle. Applicable VAT is calculated and shown by Paddle according to your country.

5. Withdrawal and Refunds

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Details and handling are set out in our Refund Policy; refunds are processed by Paddle.

6. Warranty and Liability

Statutory warranty rights apply. The warranty and liability provisions of the EULA (Sections 7 and 8) additionally apply to the use of the Software.

7. Privacy

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.

8. Final Provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG); for consumers, this applies only to the extent that mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence do not provide otherwise. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
